5 Questions to Ask Yourself If You’re Not Getting Enough Referrals.

It’s not enough to be excellent at what you do.

If you want people to refer their friends and family to you, you also have to be a master at making spaces safe.

Your clients don’t owe you referrals

You owe it to your business to create transformations that produce x10 the value that you charge.

And then you owe it to your clients to ensure the service you help them with – doesn’t cause harm, or negative effect to other areas of their lives.

I have had 3 interactions this week referring to a very special support person in my life whom I have zero qualms about referring to him.

I actively promote him because his support has had life changing effects for me – the investment is pittance in comparison.

And even when there is a very delicate situation, I have no problems reassuring my friends / family / acquaintances that they will be safe, looked after and supported in the highest way.
I can trust him beyond a shadow of a doubt that he can replicate the experience I have with him, for those I deeply care about.

I have no hesitation in referring him and that he can uphold the integrity of my name and reputation in the service that he provides.

This is what you must do for your clients too.

Today, in my role of sales support for coaches & healers – I often see very talented professionals and healers let their (lack of) financial security and need for public acknowledgement of their gifts (ego) – get in the way of creating completely safe spaces for all their clients.

Shit fights happen that ruin their positioning as an “expert”, and their own scarcity blocks the flow of abundance that would otherwise be lining up for them.

If they just calmed their farm, and practised what they preached a little more ….

“Everything in perfect divine timing.”

“Money is just a flow of energy – There is always more money.”

If you’re not getting as many referrals as you would like – ask yourself ..

1. Are you making your space safe for your clients – in the entire journey you work with them?
(Ie a massage therapist who does a beautiful session, then afterwards emotionally vomits all their financial troubles is not a safe space)

2. Do you have all the systems to support you in elegant conversion into your products and services?

(Ie getting weird about the money conversation because people haven’t paid their invoices on time, you didn’t quote them properly or you’re not making it easy to pay you – does not support the flow of abundance)

3. Does your service provide atleast 10x the value of what you charge?

4. Can you deliver transformations in a predictable, repeatable way that doesn’t exhaust or burn you out? Ie can you pay attention to the details of each client’s journey?

5. Are you skilled at communicating that value in a simple grounded way – so that your clients / friends & family CAN refer to you, easily, effortlessly and safely?
